Artist Statement

This body of work explores the tension between presence and absence, the visible and the unseen. Each piece begins as an observation of light in urban spaces, transformed through layers of paint, erasure, and re-application until the original subject dissolves into something more elemental. The work asks: what remains when we strip away everything familiar?
