Every invoice issued from the start of our relationship in 2023 through the end of 2025 has been paid in full as of April 30, 2026. We appreciate your team getting the account current.
That leaves four categories of activity, summarized below: two open invoices, three placement guarantee resolutions, the voluntary credits we are extending going forward, and one pending placement matter.
| Invoice | Placement | Detail | Amount | Status |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 2931 | Daniela Castrillon | First placement fee. Start date June 5, 2026. Payable within thirty days of her start date per Section 3 of the agreement, due July 5, 2026. | $6,000 | Open |
| 2932 | Jessica McRae | Regional Manager placement. Full fee of $25,000 less the $9,800 voluntary credit from the Ronald Nelson resolution (Credit Memo 2886), applied in full. Both components of this invoice are past due under Section 3 of the agreement, so it has been issued due upon receipt. See the referral record and voluntary reduction offer below. | $15,200less up to $2,000, offer below | Open |
| Total open | $21,200 | |||
We understand a question has been raised about this fee on the basis that Jessica also reached TRG through an internal referral. We want to address that directly, because the internal referral came months after our documented introduction. Our records show the following sequence, each entry timestamped in our system of record:
| September 29, 2025 | Percy phone-screened Jessica and submitted her in writing to TRG for the Regional Manager (Affordable Housing) search, with the referral source and date documented per Section 1 of our agreement. |
| October 2, 2025 | TRG approved Jessica as a candidate. |
| October 6, 2025 | Jessica completed a first interview with TRG, arranged by Percy. |
| November 3, 2025 | The search closed when TRG selected another Percy candidate, Ronald Nelson, for the seat. Jessica was the documented runner-up. |
| December 2025 | Jessica applied to TRG, with an internal referral noted on her application. |
| February 9, 2026 | Jessica started at TRG as Regional Manager, the same role family Percy introduced her for, ten days after Ronald Nelson departed. |
A later internal referral does not supersede a prior documented introduction. Jessica was sourced, screened, submitted, approved, and interviewed through Percy before any application existed. Under Sections 1 and 3 of our agreement, the placement fee applies, and she has now completed well beyond the three-month milestone. The full submittal documentation is available for your review at any time, and we are glad to walk through it together.
On timing: under Section 3 of the agreement, the first placement fee was payable within thirty days of Jessica's February 9 start date, and the second placement fee became payable when she completed three months of continuous employment on May 9, 2026. Every component of Invoice 2932 is therefore already past due under the agreement, and the invoice has been issued due upon receipt. We would ask that it be processed promptly, with Invoice 2931 for Daniela payable within thirty days of her start date, due July 5, 2026.
We recognize TRG may have paid an internal referral bonus on Jessica's hire. While the fee is owed in full, we are open to voluntarily reducing Invoice 2932 by the amount of the referral bonus actually paid for Jessica, up to a cap of $2,000. We would simply ask for written documentation of the referral program and the bonus paid for her so we can apply the reduction accurately. We offer this in the same spirit as the credits on this account: nothing requires it, and we would rather absorb the overlap than have it sit between us.
Three placed candidates departed inside or near the ninety-day guarantee window. Here is the disposition of each. In every case, no second placement fee was owed or billed.
Ronald departed within the first three months of his employment, so no second placement fee was owed under Section 3. Invoice 2882 was voided and Credit Memo 2886 was issued. The $9,800 you paid on his first invoice has been applied in full as a voluntary credit on Invoice 2932.
Bianca departed within the first three months of her employment, so no second placement fee was owed under Section 3, and her departure fell within the ninety-day guarantee period. Credit Memo 2876 reserves the $5,200 paid on her first invoice as a voluntary credit toward a mutually agreed upon placement.
Kiona departed within the first three months of her employment, so no second placement fee was owed under Section 3, and her departure fell within the ninety-day guarantee period. Credit Memo 2887 reserves the $6,000 paid on her first invoice as a voluntary credit toward a mutually agreed upon placement.
We want to be transparent about the basis for these credits, including the $9,800 already applied to Invoice 2932, because under our agreement none of the $21,000 is owed. Two independent provisions apply:
We are extending all $21,000 in credits voluntarily, on both grounds, because we value this relationship and want every dollar you have paid to count toward a successful, retained hire.
Whitney was one of three candidates Percy referred in writing for the Recertification Specialist search at The Landings at Tiger Lily, and she is now working in the relaunched seat at that property. Our records show the following sequence:
| March 31, 2026 | Percy phone-screened Whitney for the Recertification Specialist search at The Landings at Tiger Lily. |
| Early April 2026 | Percy submitted Whitney in writing to TRG, alongside two other candidates, with the referral source and date documented per Section 1 of our agreement. |
| April 6, 2026 | Whitney interviewed with your team at the property. |
| April 13, 2026 | The property shared that the interviews went well, but that a decision had been made not to hire a Recertification Specialist at that time. |
| April 23, 2026 | The search was relaunched as an Assistant Manager role at the same property. |
| April 27, 2026 | Whitney informed us she is working at The Landings at Tiger Lily as the assistant manager through a temporary staffing arrangement and has applied with TRG. |
| April 28, 2026 | We notified Heather Gerbensky (Regional Vice President) of Whitney's status, and receipt was acknowledged. |
Our position is straightforward: Percy is the documented source of Whitney's referral to TRG, including the written submittal and interview record. Should TRG hire Whitney into a permanent role, whether by direct hire or conversion from the temporary arrangement, the placement fee of 20% of her annual salary applies under Sections 1 and 3 of our agreement. We would simply ask for confirmation of her status so we can paper this correctly on both sides.
And here is the good news: we are open to voluntarily applying the full $11,200 in credits from Bianca and Kiona against Whitney's placement fee. At an assistant manager salary, we estimate the credits would be roughly equivalent to the invoice, meaning TRG would likely owe little to nothing out of pocket for a permanent hire your property has already vetted and is happy with.
Our proposal, which closes every item on this account in one pass:
We are glad to walk through any line of this together, including the full referral documentation on Jessica and Whitney. One housekeeping item: Invoices 2931 and 2932 have not yet been uploaded to RealPage, as we do not currently have access to the properties to which each hire should be assigned. If your team can add the appropriate properties to our RealPage access, or confirm which property each invoice should be assigned to, we will upload both right away. Copies of each invoice are available any time in the meantime.
